WERNER: Receives ex-mayor's support

Terry Werner is absolutely the best choice for Legislative District seat 3A, and has earned the right to ask for voter support to represent them in the Legislature.

Terry has worked hard all of his life, gaining valuable experience, building a solid base of knowledge and respect from all who have worked with him, myself included. Over the past 20 years, he started at the bottom learning why Public Works is critical in providing Citizen Services. He earned the position of Public Services Director which he currently holds. He is a good listener, able to help citizens resolve issues. He will do the same in the Legislature. He has worked frugally with his available campaign funds, and will watch the state budget closely, not overspending.

Terry has taken on the EPA and Washington state regarding discharge permit issues (phosphorus loading), standing tall for Idaho’s interests. Terry is well respected for his knowledge and positions. He is a consensus builder, resolving issues by calling on peers/professionals to find positive solutions. He has developed a very impressive environmental portfolio, being recognized as a leader. He participates/presents in seminars in Idaho, including Boise and Washington. As Public Services Director, he has gained valuable knowledge on transportation/road construction issues. He will work hard for adequate education funding. He and his wife are longtime local business owners. The Representative District 3 elects to seat 3A must be the right choice, widely experienced, one who looks, listens and responds to citizen’s needs. We have not had that in the past, let’s do it right and send Terry Werner to work for us!
