CONGRESS: Where big cuts should start

Rep. Raul Labrador says the largest cuts have to come from Medicare and Social Security. What about cuts from the benefits of “our Congress?” It is time to address that!

Cuts to pensions, health care, benefits, travel. Congress should have the same rules “We the People” have!

I just read about Nancy Pelosi’s pension benefits she gets or will get — it is crazy!

Mr. Labrador, the vote you deserve is if “We the People” can get better treatment from the people we send to Washington, D.C. It is long overdue for Congress to help the American middle class recover from many years of down spiral “We the People” experienced from this and past Congresses (both parties!).

The American people are tired of having a government that cannot find ways to get along, and can govern for “us the People” to make a better future for our children!

A good start would be to cut pensions and benefits to elected politicians so they can be part of the middle class again and feel like “we the People” do!

Mrs. Pelosi could get along with a lot less; cut out the jet too!
