This is a weekly collection of reports gleaned from sheriff's office and police department logs in Kootenai County.

Saturday, March 15

* Workers at a Rathdrum construction site reported the theft of multiple tools.

* Coeur d'Alene Police received multiple noise complaints for the same apartment on Spiers Avenue.

Sunday, March 16

* A Hayden resident told police that the person he had lent his car to had not returned it.

* A Coeur d'Alene resident reported the theft of his brown leather briefcase and a GPS unit from his car.

Monday, March 17

* A woman reported the theft of medication from her Coeur d'Alene apartment. When police confronted the thief, she told them she "accidentally found them (the pills) in my pocket."

* Police were informed that someone had broken into a Coeur d'Alene man's car. The only thing missing from the vehicle was his registration and insurance paperwork.

* A Coeur d'Alene woman told officers that the contents of her purse were stolen, either while out on a booze cruise or at the Splash bar.

Tuesday, March 18

* A Coeur d'Alene man reported that someone broke into his car and stole a red fanny-pack. According to the man, the fanny-pack contained a Panasonic camera and a Ruger handgun.

Wednesday, March 19

* Deputies were informed that a woman was called by a collection agency and told she owed $1,135.27 to CenturyLink, an internet provider in Seattle. She has never had an account with that provider.

Thursday, March 20

* An officer informed dispatch that the man he pulled over is a member of the "Dog Pound Gang."

Friday, March 21

* A man pulled over in Kootenai County told an officer that he is former law enforcement, as well as former "anti-law enforcement."

* Officers responded to Walmart in Hayden, where loss prevention agents had two adults detained for stealing children's clothes.
