• Intermax Networks announces two hires

Norm Rehrmann has joined Intermax Networks as a senior field engineer. Rehrmann, a well-known telecommunications professional in the region, was most recently was responsible for managing all XO Tele-communications North Idaho Field Operations. His career includes work with Rockwell International and running his own cable technology company. Rehrmann lives in Post Falls with his wife and son.

Jesse Delavan is a recent addition to the Intermax family as an account manager. Delavan works with residential and business customers in helping them reach Internet and phone solutions. He graduated from the University of Idaho in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science degree in business management. Delavan is active in the community, serving on the board of the Coeur Group service organization and is a member of the Coeur d'Alene Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Coeur d'Alene class of 2014.

Located in Coeur d'Alene, Sandpoint, and Bonners Ferry, Intermax is the region's largest independent Internet data and phone telecommunications company, serving Idaho's four northern counties since 2001.

• City of Coeur d'Alene hires Erickson

The city of Coeur d'Alene announced that Keith Erickson has been hired as the city's full-time communications coordinator, a newly created position. Erickson has been working as a contracted communications consultant for the city since November.

Erickson, 50, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from Washington State University. He previously worked for several newspapers including 13 years as a reporter for The Coeur d'Alene Press. Most recently, he spent 10 years working in corporate communications with international firms in Coeur d'Alene and Spokane.

• Williams joins Circle of Excellence

Lea Williams of Tomlinson Sotheby's International Realty of Coeur d'Alene has just received the Circle of Excellence Award for her achievements in the real estate industry during 2013. Each year the Coeur d'Alene Association of Realtors honors real estate professionals who have achieved excellence in their total sales volume, commitment to community service and volunteerism, as well as professional development and education.
