WARMING: Globally, it's hot out there

| March 26, 2014 9:00 PM

Regarding Cliff Harris’s recent column on the cold U.S. weather. Yes, it was cold here, but does it disprove global warming? Sorry, deniers, it doesn’t. Take a look at the January 2014 global temperature chart. Worldwide, January 2014 was either the third or fourth warmest on record, depending on the source. That little speck of blue over the U.S. showing colder than normal temperatures is overwhelmed on a global scale by huge patches of yellow, orange and red, where temperatures were warmer than normal.

If you say that U.S. temperatures are proof of the myth of global warming, I’ll bet you’re unwilling to admit that the global temperature map holds any proof of the opposite. I doubt there will ever be enough real facts to change your misinformed opinions.
