• Fugitive sought on grand theft charges

The North Idaho Violent Crimes Task Force is seeking information leading to the apprehension of Jordan Kerr.

Kerr, 26, is being sought based on a Kootenai County felony warrant charging him with felony probation violations.

He is on felony probation for three counts of grand theft.

This is a $50,000 bond warrant with U.S. extradition.

Kerr is a 5-foot-11, 155-pound white male with blue eyes and brown hair, last known to be living in Coeur d'Alene.

Anyone with information regarding this subject or other fugitives being sought for violent crimes should call the task force at (208) 665-4455.

The identity of callers will remain confidential and reward money may be available.

• Tomason receives $1,750 in scholarships

Timberlake High School senior Holly Tomason of Athol was awarded $1,750 in scholarships from Lewis-Clark State College, where she plans to study dental hygiene.

Tomason was given the Provost Academic Scholarship for $1,000 and a $750 Idaho Rural Water Association scholarship.
