Cardinal men rally to win at LCSC Warrior Invitational
CLARKSTON, Wash. - The North Idaho College men's golf team overcame a seven-stroke deficit to win the Warrior Invitational on Tuesday afternoon at the Clarkston Golf and Country Club.
Tanner Martin shot a two-day total of 342-311-653 for NIC, which was fourth after the first day of the tournament on Monday, but knocked 31 strokes off its score to get the win.
Host Lewis-Clark State of the NAIA was second with a 654.
Timberlake graduate Madison Hauck shot a 185 to lead the NIC women, which finished third.
NIC returns to action at the Northwest Nazarene Invitational on March 31-April 1 in Nampa.
