Joyce Ann Hall, 53

Joyce Ann Hall, 53, of Hayden, ID, passed away March 16, 2014, at her home.

Joyce was born July 29, 1960, in Haywood County, N.C., to O.V. and Dorothy Clontz Davis. Joyce attended and graduated from Pisgah Senior High School in N.C., and soon after married her high school sweetheart, Ernie Hall, in November of 1979.

Ernie later got a job with Louisiana Pacific, and together they moved to Hayden in 1986.

Joyce loved and enjoyed spending time with her family, watching her girls play sports, and traveling. She also loved taking care of her beloved granddaughter, Cheyenne. Joyce enjoyed baking, camping on the St. Joe River, and fishing - particularly steelhead fishing on the Clearwater River.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, O.V. and Dorothy, and two sisters, Gail and Patricia. She is survived by her loving husband, Ernie, at the family home in Hayden; two daughters: Monica (Brian) Thormahlen, of Coeur d’ Alene, ID and Tiffany (Jeff) Peugh, of Rathdrum, ID; one brother, Donald (Vicki) Davis, of South Carolina; one sister, Frances (Walter) Turbyfill, of North Carolina; one granddaughter, Cheyenne Peugh; and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a time for sharing of memories and gathering of family and friends at 4 p.m., Wednesday, March 19, at Zion Baptist Church, 1527 E. 16th Ave., Post Falls, ID, with a 5 p.m. memorial service to follow.
