GAY: Consider biblical facts

| March 16, 2014 9:00 PM

All input not defending the homosexual enclave and any articulation of argument to the contrary, is intolerant, bigoted and unacceptable to the modern homosexual. The strict sermonizing message to the culture from their pulpit is “Intolerance is sin.” Yet, they are intolerant to all facts but their own.

God facts: God loves homosexuals and heterosexuals. Non-married persons having homosexual thoughts, or contemplating that lifestyle, are not sinning. Non-married persons having sexual thoughts for the opposite sex, or contemplating that, are not sinning. (Contemplating can include not lusting.) In both cases, they are being tempted. Tempted to do what, according to God’s word, sin? Contemplation is not sin. “But when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and when sin is accomplished, it brings forth death.” James 1:15.

Nature facts: Sin is not an issue for homosexuals who don’t factor in God — only natural processes exist. Still, even in nature, homosexuality is an aberration to Darwin’s “natural selection model.”

A sermon from this side of the fence has no less merit than the homosexual sermons, nor should it be considered intolerant because it disagrees with the homosexual perspective of God’s design. In Genesis 2:27 it says, “God created man and women in his own image.” For arguments sake, a God who speaks humans into being must also have the right as designer to make us the way he sees fit. When God brought Eve to the man Adam, he said, “This is now bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh.” Then God said, “For this reason a man will leave his mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.” Sin has allowed us to fabricate many variants to this design, but according to God’s word (above) they lead to death. Homosexual sinners and heterosexual sinners alike can receive forgiveness from sexual sin.

From The Press article Feb. 26, ex-governor Batt attempts to equate disagreeing with the homosexual agenda with “gay bashing.” Is agreeing with God gay bashing? Hudson’s article attempts to equate Idaho’s economic woes as directly related to discriminating against homosexuals. All blessings come from God — honor Him. The Press editorial is a bold attempt to level the playing field by suggesting displaying vendor signs saying, “Due to your sexual identity, take your business elsewhere.” Allowing the law of supply and demand to dictate normal will bring peace short-lived. The homosexual sermon remains, “Intolerance of homosexuals is sin.” As was accomplished in Roe v. Wade, human laws may one day say it is so, will the one who designed us agree?
