Cardinals sweep Colorado Northwestern

RANGELY, Colo. - Brittany Hecker threw a two-hitter in the second game, as the North Idaho College Cardinals beat Colorado Northwestern 4-1 to sweep a Scenic West Athletic Conference doubleheader on Friday afternoon.

NIC (18-11, 14-8 SWAC) edged Colorado Northwestern (1-26, 1-21) 5-4 in the first game.

The teams conclude the series with another doubleheader today.
