Special Needs Recreation will hold a St. Patrick's Day Dance at Prairie View Elementary School, 2478 E. Poleline Ave., Post Falls, tonight from 6-8 p.m.

Cost is $5 and there will be a live DJ, snacks and prizes.

• Fugitive sought on drug, gun charges

The North Idaho Violent Crimes Task Force is seeking information leading to the apprehension of Charles Vernon Huckabee.

Huckabee, 51, is being sought based on a Kootenai County felony warrant charging him with failure to appear for trafficking heroin and methamphetamine, unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, driving without privileges, possession of paraphernalia, possession of a prescription drug and failure to notify authorities of an accident. This is a $150,000 bond warrant with United States extradition.

Huckabee is a 6-foot, 200-pound white male with blue eyes and brown hair, last known to be living in Sagle, Idaho.

Anyone with information regarding this subject or other fugitives being sought for violent crimes should call the task force at (208) 665-4455. The identity of callers will remain confidential and reward money may be available.

• Idaho man arrested in 6-year-old murder case

BOISE (AP) - Authorities say an arrest has been made in connection with a murder more than six years ago.

Michael S. Dauber of Nampa was taken into custody in Nampa on Tuesday. He faces a charge of first-degree murder.

Authorities say Dauber was a roommate of Idaho City resident Steven Kalogerakos when Kalogerakos was reported missing in January 2008.

Kalogerakos' body hasn't been recovered.
