Three North Idaho College students have been chosen to present their papers at the 18th annual Undergraduate Philosophy Conference at Pacific University in Forest Grove, Ore., April 4 and 5.

"It's a rare honor to be given the opportunity to present a paper at the very popular and very competitive conference that draws top undergraduate students from the U.S. and abroad," said Ed Kaitz, NIC philosophy instructor. "I couldn't be more proud of these high-achieving students."

Matt Barszcz, Dave McKerracher and Mason Brown (all from Coeur d'Alene) will be presenting their papers. Since 1997, more than 1,200 students from 300 schools have participated in the Pacific University conference. These students represent all 50 U.S. states as well as a number of Canadian provinces and several other countries.
