PREP ROUNDUP: Post Falls boys win Clarkston invite

CLARKSTON - Led by Trevor Fedele and Colton Serdahl, Post Falls' boys won the Clarkston Invitational on Monday at the Clarkston Country Club.

Fedele and Serdahl each shot 79, tying for third.

Post Falls shot 329, winning by six strokes over Coeur d'Alene, Lewiston and Ferris, who tied for second.

"This particular group of seniors have never won (a tournament)," first-year Post Falls coach Maria Kostina said. "My guys got out there and had no excuses, and just shot the best they had with the game they had at the beginning of the season. I'm just very proud of them."

The Post Falls girls, playing at Quail Ridge, did not have enough players to field a full team.
