Kevin Jay Sweeney, 55

Kevin Jay Sweeney, 55, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2014, in Coeur d’Alene, ID.

He was born October 17, 1958, in St. Maries, ID, the son of Charles and Sharron (Seelig) Sweeney.

Kevin was raised until his teen years in Post Falls, ID. He lived in numerous places in the northwest over the years, but returned to this area a few years ago to attend Spokane Community College. When he graduated he found employment in Spokane, and finally purchased a home in Reardan, Wash.

Kevin is survived by his mother, Sharron, of Post Falls; brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Lynn Sweeney, of Benton City, Wash., grandmother, Mildred Seelig, of St. Maries; two nieces: Caitlyn and Chelan Sweeney, and nephew, Conner Sweeney.

A memorial will be announced later. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, in St. Maries. Yates Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of final arrangements.
