Joyce "Bunny" Payment, 76

Joyce (Bunny) Marlene Payment, 76, passed away on March 3rd.

Bunny was born on December 23, 1937 in Spokane, WA to Russell and Lucy Clough. She was the youngest of 10 children. Bunny graduated from Myrtle Creek High School in Myrtle Creek, OR.

After graduating, she returned to Post Falls, ID. Over the course of her life, she lived in Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Alaska. She was a very talented lady that loved creating things for her loved ones. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.

Bunny is survived by her three children and their families: her son Dean and his wife Felicia Meshew, her son Greg Meshew and his wife Lenora Meshew and her daughter Carmen Hendewerk and her husband Bernie Hendewerk. She had two step daughters, Kimberly Payment and Kathy Duffy married to Mark Duffy. Her grandchildren are, Ailisa Walters, Janah Schwartz, Brandon Hendewerk, Cameron Hendewerk, Marcus Duffy, Kaitlin Duffy, and Cerissa Rhodes. Bunny’s great-grandchildren, Aurora Walters, Hamae Walters, Connor Hendewerk, Olivia Hendewerk and Ashlin Howell could always bring a smile to her face. She also is survived by her brother Otis Clough and his wife Ginny, and her sister-in-law Betty Collins who was a second mother to her. She has countless nieces, nephews and other relatives. She is also survived by her sister in heart and spirit, Maurine Gravelle.

We will be gathering to share our memories on March 8th at Carmen Hendewerk’s home in Post Falls from 1:00-5:00.
