KROC: Where did good times go?
To Kroc or NOT to Kroc ... this is my dilemma, while, after being a member since they opened, I see my favorite classes disappearing every year.
They hit me with Family Zumba on Friday mornings, canceling it and keeping only later classes that I cannot attend since I work the graveyard shift. I complained and complained but was ignored.
Then many instructors kept disappearing. Now Aqua Zumba is history and another very good class we had at the Comp pool, Liquid Silver, is gone too.
Not only that, but the last couple of days I asked at the desk if they had an 8 a.m. class and they gave me a ticket, but when I went to the class no instructor showed up. Apparently she was sick, but the front desk didn’t know anything. Of course I complained again and again (that is my job as a member who can’t use the facility like she would like) since now I go to a few classes and there are NO classes on Friday mornings. The answer was, “We have the numbers, and summers are very slow here.”
Pity those classes, especially the Aqua Zumba, had enough people. Of course, I could give up my job, you might suggest, or I could just find another gym to go to since I am running out of options there.
By the way, I already go to another gym for my Zumba. I just wish sometimes the member’s requests would be taken into consideration.
