RATHDRUM: Clean-up greatly appreciated

The city of Rathdrum would like to thank all those who volunteered during our recent clean-up days. The cemetery clean-up included volunteers from Rathdrum's Cemetery Board and volunteers from churches and Boy Scout groups along with individual volunteers from the community. The following week clean-up days continued and we did trash clean-up along highways, work on and around our entry signs, general clean-up help for seniors and others all with help from volunteers from our Lakeland Sunrise Rotary, Bay Shore Systems Inc., John Brown Elementary School, Rockwood Self Storage and general volunteers from the community. It was our best turnout for clean-up days.

EMT: Thanks for the great assistance

I just want to send a big thank you for the wonderful EMTs who came to my assistance when my family thought I was having a heart attack. If I wasn't under such distress I would have thanked them personally and said God Bless you!

If you are ever in need please call 911 and know that you are in such good hands and taken immediately to the hospital. Thank God it wasn't a heart attack and I'm living to say THANK YOU EMTS.
