Marsha Lynn Sparling Bowlin, 72

Marsha Bowlin, 72, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Friday, May 30, 2014, after a year long battle with breast cancer.

Marsha was born on May 21, 1942. She was the second child of David and Arvagene Sparling. Marsha lived a life worthy of celebration, imparting the love and light of Jesus wherever she went. 

Marsha's early years were spent in Bakersfield and Mojave, Calif., and at the age of 18 she married the love of her life, Richard Bowlin. The couple eventually moved to Denver, Colo., where Richard went through the seminary. Two kids and a seminary degree later, Richard and Marsha moved to Whittier, Calif. In time, a third child was added to the family.

A celebration of Marsha's life will take place at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 7, at Real Life Ministries in Post Falls, Idaho. There will be a potluck reception immediately following the service; please bring a dish to share (main, side, salad, or dessert).
