Wayne Fletcher, 56

Charles 'Wayne' Fletcher, 56, resident of Post Falls, Idaho, passed away July 26, 2014, at home. Wayne was born July 10, 1958, in Elgin, Ill., to Geraldine Wigen Fletcher and Charles L. Fletcher. The family moved from Illinois to Post Falls when Wayne was 11 years old.

After graduating from Post Falls High School in 1976, Wayne joined the U.S. Army and after serving his tour of duty joined the Idaho Army National Guard. Following his military service, he returned to Post Falls and worked as a truck driver operator for Interstate Concrete and then for Spokane Rock Products. Wayne married his wife, Holly, on June 8, 2003, in Coeur d'Alene.

Wayne was a great fan of the Chicago Bears and Cubs. He enjoyed bowling, woodworking and golf.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Holly, at home; four sons, Christopher Shepard, Nicholas Lingo, Joshua Wikoff and Tyler Wikoff; one daughter, Cheyenne Lingo; five sisters, Marie (Charles) Cate, Gail (Bill) Everson, Lynn Fletcher, Kristee Ocheltree and Heather Simpson; nieces and nephews, Jim and Tom Everson, Matt and Ian Booth, Alissa Ocheltree, and Andrew Simpson; step-mother, Dee Fletcher, of Greenacres, Wash.; and his best friend, Deano Henshaw.
