Indians knock off Vancouver again

SPOKANE - Saquan Johnson hit a two-run single to lead the Spokane Indians to a 6-2 win over the Vancouver Canadiens on Monday night in Northwest League baseball before 5,031 at Avista Stadium.

Jose Trevino and Jose Cardona had RBI doubles in the second, and Seth Spivey's RBI triple in the fifth made it 4-2 Spokane.

Indians starter Andrew Barnett picked up his third win of the season with a five-hit, four-strikeout performance in his five innings of work. Nick Dignacco, Chris Dula and Adam Parks combined for scoreless relief.

Spokane (3-4 second half), hosts Vancouver (2-5 second half) again tonight at 6.
