CRISIS: Keep goal of center alive

| July 27, 2014 9:00 PM

I just want to thank the CDA Press and the editor for the full coverage given to the loss of the mental health crisis center and the impact of Coeur d’Alene’s loss on local law enforcement and health facilities. It is crucial for the public to have factual information. The additional trauma for people with mental illnesses and their families when a crisis occurs cannot be measured.

The editorial in the July 13 issue, the letter from members of the Region 1 Mental Health Board, and subsequent letters give crucial information to our local citizens and taxpayers. This issue needs to be kept in the public’s consciousness.
