'Elvis' rocks the River City tonight

| July 25, 2014 9:00 PM

POST FALLS - The King has entered the library.

Master impressionist Dave Ehlert will perform as Elvis and other stars at the Post Falls Library tonight at 7.

Based in Branson, Mo., Dave "Elvis" Ehlert has been performing as "the King" since 1967 and his voice has been considered the closest to Elvis by fan club presidents. His Post Falls performance will include an impersonation of Elvis plus a dozen other stars, including Tom Jones, Neil Diamond, Willie Nelson, Dean Martin, Roy Orbison, Hank Williams, Rod Stewart and Johnny Cash. The show is free and no registration is required.

Ehlert brought the music sensations to life at a different Community Library Network location Thursday evening when he performed "Country Boys, Gone Too Soon" at the Hayden Library, where he showcased the country side of Elvis and did a live tribute to Hank Williams and Roy Orbison.

For information, call the Post Falls Library, 773-1506. It is located at 821 N. Spokane St.
