Bayley finishes fourth

at amateur qualifier

WALLA WALLA, Wash. - Rathdrum's Derek Bayley, who has signed with Washington State, shot a even-par 72 to finish fourth in the East qualifier for the 88th Washington men's amateur championship on Wednesday at Wine Valley Golf Club.

Daniel Cruzen of Kennewick shot a 5-under 67 to win medalist honors, leading 26 competitors who advance to the championship Aug. 5-7 back at Wine Valley Golf Club.
