| July 23, 2014 9:15 PM

Ruth Kittredge, 93, went to be with the Lord on June 27, 2014. She was much beloved by her family and friends, and freely shared her faith in Jesus Christ with all who would listen.

Ruth, and twin brother, Ronald, were born on Aug. 23, 1920, in Rosebud, N.D., to Sophia Pauline (Hamre) and Jesse James Stevenson. Ruth lived in Minneapolis, Minn., until 1951, when she relocated to Southern California. In 1996, Ruth and her husband, Lloyd, moved to Dalton Gardens, Idaho, to join her family.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, John F. McNulty, in 1973; and by her second husband, Lloyd O. Kittredge, to whom she was married for 32 years; her daughter, Patricia Lee McNulty Sukrau; and all five of her siblings.

Ruth is survived by her daughter, Virginia McNulty Robinson (Roger), of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; nieces: Pauline Beebe, of California, Sally Stevenson, of California, and Linda Huey, of Minnesota; nephews: Roy Stevenson, of Idaho, James Stevenson, of California, and John Stevenson, of California (to whom she has always been “Mom”); and many more adoring family members and friends, including local resident’s granddaughter, Patricia Robinson Hall, of Athol, Idaho; Katherine Robinson, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; and great-granddaughter, Madeline Olivier, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

A memorial service to celebrate Ruth’s life will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 26, at North Country Chapel, 2281 W. Seltice Way, Post Falls, Idaho. All are welcome to attend. The service will also be streamed live at 2 p.m. on the church website: www.northcountrychapel.com; click “watch live” on the main page.

Ruth has instructed those who love her not to grieve, but to look forward to meeting her again in the presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
