Thank goodness!

Our sheriff won out in spite of all the out-of-town “big-wigs” trying to intimidate him. The Diamond Cup organizers from out of town thought they could bypass the law and have their way. Everyone should have to obey the laws; no one should expect favoritism.

Last year Diamond Cup organizers didn’t pay their bills, left the lake polluted, and treated local people as if they owned the city.

We never hear any negative happenings during Ironman weekends. The visitors participating show respect and appreciation for what is done for them. Not so with Diamond Cup.

Thank you, Sheriff Ben Wolfinger, for standing your ground.
