Gizmo-CdA is defined as "The Coeur d'Alene Makerspace, a creative community workspace where people of all ages can build and experiment while sharing tools and ideas."

Located at 806 N. Fourth St. in Midtown, Gizmo's key people Marty Mueller and Barbara Pleason Mueller say the place involves hands-on creative ways from 3-D printing to robotics, welding to clay, wood to metal, computers to abacuses, hardware to software. Pick up a tool, pursue an idea, have an "aha" moment.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday and 10 to 5 Wednesday through Friday. Tinker Tuesday is at 6 p.m. Phone 651-6200 or 699-8829. Check www.gizmo-cda.org.
