The seventh-grade Bucs downed the Vikings in the season opener for both teams. For the Bucs, Derek Pearse threw three TD passes to Logan Jeanselme and added a fourth to DJ Wattam. Jeanselme also threw a TD pass to Patrick LaSarte. Jacob Pratt and Austin Schmidt added receptions for the Bucs offense. The Bucs defense pitched a shutout led by Jeanselme's two interceptions.
