Celebrate our four-legged friends Friday

COEUR d'ALENE - On Friday at 7 p.m., residents are invited to bring their dogs the Cherry Hill Dog Park for a celebration of the lives of our four-legged friends.

The fenced-off dog park, which allows canine companions to play without a leash, is located at 15th Street and Hazel Avenue. According to event organizer Steve Bell, the night of celebration is in honor of Arfee, a 2-year-old black Labrador shot and killed by a Coeur d'Alene Police Department officer.
