Doris Van Horn, 90

Our beloved mother, grandmother and sister, Doris Van Horn, 90, passed away from cancer at 9:10 p.m., July 12, 2014, at the Life Care Center in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

Doris was born on November 18, 1923, in Tulsa, Okla., to John and Helen Park. 

She married Stanley Roth in Snohomish, Wash., on August 24, 1940. They had four children, and later divorced. 

Doris married Willis "Bill" Van Horn in Snohomish, Wash., on December 13, 1973. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; parents, John and Helen; sisters, Nan, Ethel and Marjorie; grandson, Jerry Bemrose; and great granddaughter, Ashley Roth. Doris is survived by her children: Dee Williams (Sherman), of Hayden, Idaho; Carol Land (Glenn), of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; Patricia Alonzo (Mike), of Vancouver, Wash., David Roth (Sandy), of Sandy, Ore., and stepson, Gary Van Horn, of Everett, Wash., sister, Marie Hiller, of Portland, Ore., brother, Jack Park, of Ephrata, Wash., 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
