Brearley wins second flight at Lilac

Ty Brearley of Post Falls won the amateur second flight at the 51st Lilac City Invitational golf tournament, which concluded Sunday at The Fairways at West Terrace, just outside Spokane.

Brearley shot an 82 in the final round for a 72-hole score of 312, good for a 10-shot victory over Jeffery Day of Medical Lake, Wash. Brearley shot 84, 72 and 74 in the first three rounds.

Anthony Robydek of Lakewood, Wash., shot a 2-under-par 70 for a 72-hole score of 17-under 271, good for a two-shot victory over Peter Sisich of Spokane, who shot 72 on the final day. Jason Humphrey of Coos Bay, Ore., shot 73 and finished two strokes back at 275.

Eric Gravbrot of Yakima, Wash., won the amateur championship flight, shooting a 71 for a 281 total and a two-stroke victory. Tony Hanna of Rathdrum, tied for the lead after three rounds, shot 84 on the final day and finished fourth at 294.
