How the 'Big Three' decided

| July 13, 2014 9:00 PM

Like he did four years ago prior to the original Decision, rumor has it that LeBron James and buddies Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh met up in Coeur d'Alene last week to once again weigh their options.

Unlike their 2010 get-together, where they reportedly played a round at The Coeur d'Alene Resort Golf Course, this time they apparently met up at McEuen Park, so they could watch their kids enjoy the new water features.

According to alleged bystanders, this is how their conversation went down:

LeBron: Well, guys, four Finals and two NBA titles in four years together. You think we can keep this thing going?

Wade: I don't see why not. The Spurs keep getting older, and KD and Westbrook have got to be getting tired of carrying OKC. And we're in the Eastern Conference.

Bosh: What's that big thing on the end of that boat?

LeBron: Yeah, but D-Wade, you're not getting any younger - and your knees definitely aren't getting any younger.

Wade: I'm still good when I need to be - for the big games and the playoffs.

Bosh: I thought we should have won this year. The Spurs had to turn their arena into a sauna to beat us in Game 1.

LeBron: Thanks for the reminder.

Wade: With the right pieces around us, we should be able to make a run at it again.

Bosh: Didn't we just pick up Josh McRoberts and Danny Granger?

LeBron: You know, I'm really thinking about going back home to Cleveland. I'd love to help the Cavs win a title.

Wade: Ah, man, after what those fans did to you when you left? Burning your jersey? And what about that nasty letter from the owner?

LeBron: Yeah, that hurt, but I think he feels bad about that letter. Heck, I feel bad about The Decision. We all make mistakes. Northeast Ohio's my home. How cool would that be to help your home state team win an NBA title?

Bosh: I heard there was a baseball field here at one time.

Wade: As much as that would kill us if you left, I guess going home makes sense for you now. The Cavs have been so bad since you left, they've been able to draft some good players the last few years. They're a better team now than the one you left behind. And, if you thought they were mad the first time you left, imagine how they would react if you had a chance to go home again, and still decided to stay with the Heat?

LeBron: No kidding, man. You see all those people camped out near my house? You think someone could turn on a sprinkler until I get home? Or take out the garbage? Or get the mail?

Bosh: Houston wants me. Maybe I'll go there.

Wade: Why? With the guys they've got, there won't be any shots left for you.

Bosh: Good point. What are you going to do, D-Wade?

Wade: I'm staying here. Besides, if LeBron goes back to Cleveland, we'll need more of your offense in Miami. Who else is going to score? And, you'll get paid ... a lot.

Bosh: Did you hear gunfire?
