Shadow hand United first home loss

VANCOUVER, Wash. - Mike Ramos scored the eventual game-winner in the 66th minute on an assist from Aaron Jeffery, helping the Spokane Shadow clip Vancouver United 2-1 in Evergreen Premier League soccer play on Thursday night.

After a scoreless first half, Derek Zimmerman scored on an assist from Juan Valderrama in the 57th minute to give Spokane a 1-0 lead.

Jamoy Stevens scored in the 75th for Vancouver (8-4-1), which had been unbeaten (5-0-0) at home entering the game.

Spokane (7-2-2), which has a nine-game unbeaten streak, travels to Yakima (5-7-1) tonight at 6:30 at Marquette Stadium.
