Hayden man hurt in crash

Idaho State Police is investigating a one-vehicle injury crash on Interstate 84 that happened Thursday, west of Sand Hallow.
According to an ISP press release, Geoffrey Harvey, 65, of Hayden, was traveling westbound in a 1998 Mazda pickup. Harvey fell asleep and drove into the median. The pickup went off the embankment and came to rest below the interstate on a county road, the release states.
Harvey was wearing his seat belt. He was transported to West Valley Medical Center.
This crash is still under investigation by ISP.
