William J. Hegel, 92

William J. "Bill" Hegel, 92, passed away in Post Falls, Idaho, on July 3, 2014.

Bill was born August 30, 1921, to John and Pearl Hegel at Belgrove, Idaho. He was proud to work as a logger his entire life, throughout Washington and Idaho.

Bill loved the outdoors, including hunting and fishing. Bill, and his companion, Irene, shared a passion for music and dancing, and Bill could play numerous musical instruments.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Pearl; sisters: Lavina, Florence, Lema, Helen, Rosemary, and Edna; and brothers, Jackie and Jimmy.

Bill is survived by his loving and caring companion of 16 years, Irene A. Belstad; his children: Jim Hegel, Clyde (Marilyn) Hegel, Helen Keller, and Bonnie Weaver; three brothers: Lee (Edna) Hegel, Donnie (Kay) Hegel, and Fred Hegel; and numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
