Recent reports from Kootenai County law enforcement agencies, July 3 through 7.

POST FALLS POLICE

Thursday

* A woman reported that her vehicle was stolen from an address on West 20th.

* A hit and run was reported at Club Tequila. The only description of the vehicle given to law enforcement was that it was a red quadcab truck.

Friday

* Post Falls Police handled 16 calls for service related to fireworks.

* A routine traffic stop resulted in an arrest after it was determined that the person pulled over had a warrant.

* A vehicle stolen in Texas was found parked in the Flying J parking lot.

Saturday

* Officers responded to 14 firework complaints.

* A report of an unwanted person resulted in the arrest of a man with a felony warrant out of Texas.

Sunday

* A man told police that his cell phone was stolen sometime during the day and he was tracking its location.

* Officers arrested a man at Walmart after it was reported that he went into the store, selected an air conditioner and attempted to return the item for cash.

Monday

* An officer took a report for the accidental discharge of a shotgun in the garage of a home. There was damage done to the radiator of one of the vehicles at the residence.

* A resident caught several youths "ding-dong-ditching" in the area of Osprey Drive and contacted police. Their parents were notified of their actions.

COEUR d'ALENE POLICE

Thursday

* Police responded to a call on Belleville Drive, where a man told them that someone stole a GPS-unit and car charger from his vehicle.

* A man who left his garage open overnight told police that two cases of tools, valued at $900, were stolen.

Friday

* A woman told police that her backpack was stolen after a friend who was wearing it put it down in a parking lot and leaving to watch fireworks.

* Officers responded to Honeysuckle Drive, where a woman told them that someone stole a 25-ounce Budweiser beer from a cooler in her locked car.

Sunday

* A Coeur d'Alene man told police that numerous items were missing from the garage at his newly purchased home on Pennsylvania Avenue.
