"We've been fortunate to have Dan in our program for several years as a player and coach, and we'll really miss him," Washington men's golf coach Matt Thurmond said. "He is a great teammate and leader, and I loved working with him every day. He brings with him to Boise a great knowledge of golf and a unique feel for people, and I think the student-athletes and fans at Boise State will love Dan as much as we do.
