Post Falls 2, Timberlake 0: Jacob Vasquez struck out 12 in a complete-game win for Post Falls, and Spencer Zeller went 3 for 3 with two doubles and a run scored.

Coeur d'Alene 29, St. Maries 7: Mayson Whittaker, Payton Childers, Bennett Cunningham and Nicholas Kaufman each hit home runs for Coeur d'Alene. Whittaker, Kaufman and Devon Johnson each had ground-rule doubles.

For St. Maries, Hayden Villa homered and Brayden Brusseau hit a ground-rule double.

At Lions Field, Rathdrum

Sandpoint 12, Wallace 2: No highlights were reported.

Lewiston 18, Hayden 4: No highlights were reported.

At Canfield Sports Complex

Hayden 12, Lakeland 4: Nick Swanson hit a three-run triple, and Daniel Debour struck out eight in the win.

Lewiston 28, Post Falls 3: Zack Carpenter hit a three-run homer and a two-run homer in the third inning, and Zac Lombard hit a solo homer in the second for Lewiston. Cruz Hepburn added a two-run double in the win.

Eli Gondo hit an RBI single for Post Falls.

Coeur d'Alene 9, Hayden 3: Dylan Hess gave up one run in five innings, and Marcus Manzardo added two doubles and a three-run home run as Coeur d'Alene finished 4-0 in pool play. Andrew Karnas doubled and singled in the win.

Cam Martindale had two hits for Hayden.

At Croffoot Park, Hayden

Nampa Valley 19-12, Hayden 2-1: Nampa Valley won the first two games of the best-of-3 series to capture the state title and advance to the West Regional July 18-25 in Nogales, Ariz.

In the first game, Brody Babneau hit two home runs and Jayson Hibbard, Ethan Hofhine, Bryson Vaughn and Wade Carpenter hit one each. Wyatt Storer drove in two runs and Justin Villanueva struck out 10.

Noah Bell had a double for Hayden.

In the second game, Storer, Griffen Loosli and Jesse Fuentes each homered for Nampa Valley, and Hofhine drove in three runs.

Noah Mayfield singled and doubled for Hayden.
