The names of the 12 law enforcement personnel from four agencies involved in the early-morning gunbattle on Interstate 90 at Post Falls on June 22 were released Wednesday.

Marcus A. Rael, who was injured in the incident, is being held at the Kootenai County jail on one count of felony eluding a peace officer. His bail is $1 million.

No law enforcement personnel were injured in the exchange.

Law enforcement personnel involved included:

* Cpl. Joshua Kagarice, who has more than 13 years of experience with Idaho State Police

* Deputy Paul Mead, with the Kootenai County Sheriff's Office for more than two years

* Deputy Erik Hedlund, more than six years with the KCSO

* Senior Officer Brett Chapman, more than 19 years with the Post Falls Police Department

* Officer Jason Maeler, eight months with PFPD

* Officer Alexander Sporleder, more than a year with PFPD

* Officer August Wessel, more than six years with Coeur d'Alene Police Department

* Officer Joshua Schneider, more than eight years with CPD

* Officer Dustin Taylor, more than three years with CPD

* Officer Nathan Petersen, more than four years with CPD

* Officer Jordan Noble, more than four years with CPD

* Officer Anders Tenney, more than six years with CPD.

All of the personnel remain on paid administrative leave as the investigation continues.

The Kootenai County Sheriff's Office released the last names and first-name initial of the personnel involved, but declined to release the full first name, citing a case law.

The full names of the public employees were obtained by The Press through various sources.

A Post Falls teen captured video of a portion of the gunfire. In his one-minute video, at least 40 shots were fired, but the early-morning standoff and gunbattle at the westbound Spokane Street on-ramp lasted more than half an hour.

The KCSO has not released details on how many total shots were fired, where and how many times Rael was shot, or other information about the exchange, citing the active investigation.

After a pursuit that began in Coeur d'Alene, Rael stopped his truck and allegedly began to exchange gunfire with the 12 law enforcement personnel.

The investigation shut down westbound I-90 from the Highway 41 interchange to the Pleasant View exit for about 14 hours, causing major traffic delays throughout Post Falls.
