Jerry G. Tucker, 70

Jerry G. Tucker, 70, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, passed away June 19, 2014, near Yellow Pine, Idaho.

Jerry was born October 29, 1943, in Enumclaw, Wash., and grew up in the Pacific Northwest.

Jerry worked at Kaiser Mead Aluminum Plant for 12 years. He owned Jerry’s Welding Shop for two years, and was a millwright for Millwood Carpenter’s Union #96 for 14 years. He also worked in road construction for two years.

Jerry loved the outdoors, and his hobbies were camping, fishing, and prospecting. He especially enjoyed working at his Idaho mine for over 30 years.

Jerry was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He served faithfully at Lake City Community Church.

Jerry was preceded in death by three brothers: Thomas, Wesley, and Al. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Letty; sister, Cynthia Machuga, and brother, Gary Allison; children: Robert (Paula) Tucker, Jay (Joanna) Tucker, and Laura (Scott) Draper; adopted children: Krista Kyzar, Tayler Kyzar, and Shawn Kyzar; stepchildren: Sherri Harkness, Vicki (James) Hahn and Debbie Cherry; grandchildren: Ami Dammerman, Grace Tucker, Chloie Tucker, and Sam Tucker; 13 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 12, at Lake City Community Church, 6000 N. Ramsey Road, Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
