RELIGION: Cooper basically correct

In regard to Thursday’s My Turn column and the comments posted on the story online, Mr. Cooper might be stating his thoughts or ideas and he might not be correct on every point, but the comment that this country was founded because of money — study your history. It’s about religious freedom.

The comment about old testament and laws — learn your Bible before commenting. The new testament applies today. That came about after Jesus came into the picture, and the poor fellow who commented on the column at cdapress.com (barf)… Wow, now he’s a real open-minded guy.

Look, if you don’t believe in the Bible, God and the principles this country was founded on, that’s your business. Just don’t try to make a fool of those who do believe. If you do, you’re only exposing the foolishness within you.
