SPEED: Too much is too dangerous

I completely disagree with the Idaho Senate idea of increasing the speed limit to 80 mph. We are at present experiencing too many out of control accidents. I also don’t agree to our present 75 mph speed on I-90 east of Fourth of July Pass, but I would agree to increase truck speed to match the car speed limit to lower necessary lane changing and passing.

Instead of adding to our present speed limit, we should first enforce our present speed limit and add 10 minutes to our travel time. I also notice Cd’A Police cars and sheriff cars exceeding the speed limit on Ramsey Road. Don’t abuse your authority and I will respect your lights and sirens.

P.S. I would agree to increase Highway 95 speed from Cd’A north to Garwood to 55 mph.
