Jo Ann Adams, 79
Jo Ann Adams, 79, died February 22, 2014, at her home in Coeur d'Alene.
She was born September 29, 1934, in Roswell, N.M. She married Eddie B. Lemon in 1951, and they were married for 25 years; she then married Robert W. Adams in 1976, and they were married for 28 years.
Jo Ann worked at KMC Hospital in Coeur d'Alene for 34 years in housekeeping, where she was well known as the "toothbrush queen." She was very sad when she had to retire in 2009.
Jo Ann was an active member of Mountain Lakes Bible Church and loved her bible studies. She was an avid quilter and made hundreds of quilts. Jo Ann loved yard work, gardening or "playing in the dirt" as she called it. She spent her early retirement years boating with her husband on Mica Bay.
Jo Ann was well liked, and we teased her that she could carry on a conversation with a rock. She just loved to talk! She was also known for always fixing things.
Jo Ann was preceded in death by her two husbands, Eddie and Robert, and Donna Deming. She is survived by her four daughters: Leola Lemon, Edilee Maxon, Sheryl Houston, and Linda Paullas; seven grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
The family has placed their trust in Mountain Lakes Bible Church for her final Celebration of Life. It will be held at 2 p.m., on Saturday, March 15, at 2215 N. 7th St., 664-9083. This will be open to the public and the many friends of Jo Ann.
