CRIME: One way to keep it down

Several years ago when we resided in north Seattle (Edmonds, Lynnwood and Mountlake Terrace), the crime, as everywhere, had escalated greatly. We residents were sick and tired of local authorities slapping the juvenile perpetrators with a feather, if at all, so we decided to address this problem.
It was time to have the local weekly newspaper place the names of the juveniles, their parents, their address and their professions, every time a crime was committed by their children. Solution: Crime went down greatly, legal or not.
Something has to be done NOW. Punish these kids for their crimes, make parents pay for everything.
