• Macomber Law adds new attorney
Travis J. Sorenson has joined the legal staff at Macomber Law, Coeur d'Alene. Sorenson is licensed as an attorney in Idaho and Utah.
Sorenson received his Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law, graduating in the top third of his class. Between college and law school, he worked his way up to director of installation for a home-security startup, then worked in electrical construction at a large national electrical contractor.
During law school, Sorenson served as editorial staff of the Creighton Law Review, authoring and editing articles, and providing editorial support to other student authors. He clerked for the Douglas County Attorney's Office and interned for the Douglas County Court in Omaha, Neb.
Sorenson is a member of the Idaho and Utah State Bar Associations, and is admitted to practice law in the Idaho and Utah Supreme Courts, and the United States Court for the District of Idaho.
"We believe Travis' background in the electrical trade allows him to better relate to the legal needs of our contract and construction clients. Macomber Law looks forward to a long working relationship with him," said Art Macomber, managing attorney of Macomber Law.
When Sorenson is not representing clients, he enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. His favorite activities include enjoying Idaho's wild outdoors, motorcycle riding, mountain biking, skiing, camping, and fishing.
Macomber Law opened in Coeur d'Alene in 2005. The firm is known for reliable and responsive provision of high-quality legal counsel on real property, land use, construction and water law issues. For more information, contact Art Macomber at (208) 664-4700 or email [email protected].
