BULLIES: Handle them as criminals
Bullying at school is a crime, just like in the work place.
Federal civil rights laws prohibit harassment or verbal abuse against individuals based on one or more of the following classes: Race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status or national origin.
Thus, law enforcement should deal with this problem. The perpetrator should be arrested and jailed. This record will follow the individual for the rest of their life.
The parents have completely failed in their duties to teach their children right from wrong, and respect for others. The parents should be held responsible and accountable for their children’s actions.
If the perpetrator is found guilty, the school should drop them from extracurricular activities, such as sports. The schools must help send the message that they will not tolerate such conduct.
This will be more cost effective and efficient than hiring an expert who is preaching to deaf ears. If all avenues are used with no results, then sue the parents. This will surely bring results.
