SNOW: Cheers to Avista worker

In this day and age, most of us are used to seeing several “supervisors” standing around watching one “worker bee.”

What a delightful surprise when I went outside and an Avista worker was shoveling the snow from my driveway and sidewalk. He had noticed that the “old man’s” snow blower was not working correctly — so he grabbed a shovel and went for it! He had some time while others were putting up a pole and decided he didn’t need to “supervise.”

My sincere thanks to him (wish I would have thought to get his name) and Avista and hope others will decide to go that extra mile. Hopefully, it will then be paid forward.
