The Idaho Statesman reported in a story on Tuesday that 25-year-old James Whitewater pleaded guilty to second-degree murder last week.
Joshua Wasserburger, 26, who supplied the handgun used in the July 13 shooting, pleaded guilty on Dec. 16 to aiding and abetting voluntary manslaughter.
Pedro Martin Jr. died after being shot in his torso.
Whitewater is scheduled to be sentenced Feb. 9 and faces up to life in prison.
Wasserburger is scheduled to be sentenced Feb. 5 and faces up to 15 years.
Police say Whitewater, hours before the shooting, beat Martin after Martin's girlfriend told him Martin had broken her jaw with a beer bottle earlier that month.
