MILLIE: Don't give a darn

According to Brian Walker’s interview with Millie Hayes, her letter just expressed her desire to bring change to the area. Really?

Some of the things she complained about were the wind, the snow, lack of nearby shopping and Idaho’s right-to-work law.

How is Millie going to change these things? Years ago I saw a sign in a northern California cafe which read, “We don’t give a damn how they do it in Los Angeles!”

That sentiment still rings true today.
