Larry Barwick, 69
Larry J. Barwick entered life on August 20, 1945, in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Larry departed life Dec. 15, 2014, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. When he was a year old the family moved to Denver, Colorado. He attended school in Denver, graduating in 1964. During junior high and high school Larry did odd jobs for spending money and he developed an extensive coin collection. In 1965 Larry joined the Army and was in the motor pool. He served proudly while in the Army.
Upon his return, Larry worked for a while as a mechanic but didn't like grease under his nails. On his return he married Donna Smith and had a son (Daron) and a daughter (Sheila). Donna left him. He was heartbroken by the break up. Larry studied carpentry and at the time was a Journeyman carpenter. His brother-in-law, David Van Gaalen, and Larry went to electronic school and Larry became a TV translator tech. He kept the TV on the air in Southeastern Colorado for 10 1/2 years and made many friends in his travels through Baca county.
He was also able to follow his love of hunting, fishing and being in the outdoors while in Baca county. He was also married to Martha Gaspesie for several years and had a second daughter (Amanda) and a second son (Carl). Martha divorced Larry. Larry then found and married Janice, his third wife and soulmate. They enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, horseback riding in the mountains and going to nudist resorts. They enjoyed being together and doing things together. Larry was a big flirt and a tease, but it was all in fun. Larry was a jack of all trades and a master of none. He was loved deeply by his friends and will be sorely missed.
