Ray Hussey, 62, Oct. 24, 1952 - Nov. 27, 2014
"I am an infinitesimal speck of consciousness on a cosmic journey to enlightenment."
Husband, best friend and father, moved on to the next phase of his journey on Nov. 27, 2014.
Ray studied the martial arts as a young man, and lived his life according to the Japanese Bushido Code - or the code of the Samurai - Justice, Courage, Benevolence, Politeness, Honesty, Honor, Loyalty and Self-Control. He also had a big heart and wonderful sense of humor.
Ray was a longtime employee of both West One/U.S. Bank and J.R. Simplot Company IT departments. He enjoyed camping, kayaking and outdoor photography, and had a passion for music.
Ray was a supportive father and took great pride and pleasure in the accomplishments of his sons, Shaun and David.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Brien and Hilfred Hussey; and his infant son, Neil Conner Hussey.
Ray is survived by Mary, his wife of 31 years; sons Shaun and David; and his brother, Dave. He is also survived by his four-legged family members: Amber, Oce and Scamp.
May the sun shine on your shoulder and the winds be always at your back until we meet again.
A celebration of Ray's life will be held at a later date.
Memories and condolences may be shared with the family on Ray's memorial webpage at summersfuneral.clickforward.com.
